To provide multiple services enabling support/promotion of livelihood and quality of life of disadvantaged people and places, leveraging the power of information & communication technology (ICT) for small/medium size enterprises & institutions.
In collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University, we conducted a nationwide study of IT usage and absorption by MFIs and Cooperative Banks/Societies. Over 160 DCCBs and 50 MFIs were surveyed. The core finding was that IT barriers exist not due to high solution costs, but because institutions lack localized IT help and specialized personnel.
