Hourly Long Learning Online (HLLO)

About the Program

  • Concept: Hourly Long Learning Online (HLLO) is a specialized initiative designed especially for the COVID-19 Pandemic period to ensure continuous education.
  • Reach: Using this framework, our dedicated team actively reaches out to village youths and children.
  • Platforms Used: HLLO seamlessly operates across multiple online meeting tools including Zoom, SKYPE, Google Meet, and WhatsApp.
  • Best Performance: Based on our field experience, Zoom and SKYPE have proven to be the most reliable mechanisms for high-quality HLLO delivery.

HLLO Delivery Formats

To optimize the learning lifecycle, the program is divided into two distinct session types:

Format A: Lecture Class
  • Mode: One-way focused delivery. Only the speaker speaks while all other participants keep their connections muted.
  • Interactive Delivery: It is fully possible for 2 to 5 mentors to offer the lecture in a coordinated, interactive manner.
  • Story Format: We highly prefer a "lecture buddy" approach where content is seamlessly delivered in an engaging story format.
  • Capacity: There is absolutely no limit on the number of attendees for a lecture class.
Format B: Tutorial Class
  • Mode: Multi-directional communication where everyone has authorization to unmute and speak freely.
  • Core Purpose: Specifically designed so that participants can easily resolve individual doubts with mentors.
  • Assignments: Tutorial classes are also utilized as focused workshops to complete assigned tasks and homework.
  • Capacity: Kept strictly small-scale for quality interaction; it cannot have more than 10 members.
